We also want you all to know that we have secured a parcel of land on the Dodowa road to be developed into a permanent facility in the near future. God bless you all for your help and we will still plead with you to help us put smiles on the faces of these wonderful children.

Lamisi ReachOut Foundation’s New Year Party For Children

There comes a time in one’s life when you must look back and think about the less privileged and vulnerable in your community. That’s when you do your very best to make these people happy and once you start there is no stopping you. At the end of the day you feel satisfied and great within your heart spirit and mind for what you have done and your main aim was to put smiles on the faces of people who were not even thinking of getting help and support from someone. Such a habit of generosity becomes part of you and you always crave to do more than what you did previously. In fact, it simply means that you always go the extra mile to make it happen and make people happy.
The Lamisi ReachOut Foundation once again made some people happy on the 3rd January, 2017. This was part of their annual New Year party for children in and around the Ashaiman and Tema areas. This time, the children from the Motherly Home Orphanage were feted with food and drinks amidst singing and dancing by the children with Lamisi and her friends. Also, on that same day, more than sixty cell inmates of the Ashaiman District Police Headquarters were provided with food and drinks by the Foundation with the permission of the station commander who was very happy and grateful for what the Foundation has done. The policemen on duty were also grateful to the foundation and promised to do their utmost best to help curb crime in and around the Ashaiman Municipality. Thus at the end of the day it was all about putting smiles on people’s faces. The Lamisi ReachOut Foundation gives out to people not because there is more to give but because the Foundation wants to have a society where giving will be a habit and  part of the daily activities of people, for God Almighty loves a cheerful giver.
If this post has touched you and you will like to help the Lamisi ReachOut Foundation move to greater heights and touch more lives through donations to orphanages,  health screenings, training young people to learn a trade or skills, kindly visit our facebook page at Lamisi ReachOut Foundation, like it and leave a message. You can also comment on this post. God bless you for reading this post, let us join hands and make the world a better place for all humankind. Touch a life today and make sure you leave a smile on that person’s face.

My Journey To An Island On The Ada River

As part of my desire to bring joy and happiness to children wherever they are, I took time off my busy schedule to join the members of the Tema Lions Club and journeyed to one of the islands on the Ada River.

This happened on the 24th April, 2015. The team went there and donated reading books, exercise books, sports items such as footballs and other educational items. You can just imagine the smiles on the faces of the children and the members of the island community. I was so happy and even forgot that it was time for us to leave. That's what happens when you do something good from the deepest part of your heart. The joy within you knows no bounds.

As we left, I had a strong feeling that my work on this island was not completed and I will come back one day to put more smiles on the faces of not only the children in this wonderful community but all the people. My heartfelt thanks goes out to the members of the Tema Lions Club who came up with this noble idea, God bless you all. I really enjoyed the journey.

Earth Day 2015

22nd April of every year is Earth Day. We must take good care of the earth. The Lamisi ReachOut Foundation spent the day with school children from the Tema Community 7 Government School.

The children were educated on the need to protect the earth by keeping the environment clean, the disadvantages of pollution and other practices that are harmful to the earth. At the end of the day, the children were happy for such an opportunity. Let's all do our bit to protect the earth for that's all that we have.

Help Someone In Need This Easter

The Easter season is here with us once again and we are very much grateful to be alive and healthy. Many people will be traveling to their villages or hometowns to celebrate the death and resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Whiles we all take part in this very important celebration, we must not forget about the less privileged in society.

This should be a time for us to involve ourselves in several acts of charity. Dont just go for the Easter Monday picnic, but make sure you donate to an orphanage, needy people, the sick and the less privileged closer to you or far away from you through any means possible. Do not discard your old clothes, shoes and other household items. Someone somewhere surely and seriously needs those items. Make sure they are in the best conditions before donating them. Please, you can also go the extra mile by buying new items for the needy and less privileged in the society. You can also spend some time with the poor, needy and less privileged in the society on Easter Monday. Just put smiles on their faces and they will remember that special moment forever. In fact they will cherish it and that memory will live with them forever.Let us cultivate the habit of giving from the heart. Don't give because you have been asked to give but let it come from your heart.

We at the Lamisi ReachOut Foundation will be very glad and happy if you extend your acts of kindness and generosity to the less privileged, the poor and needy in the society. Teach your children the act of giving and being generous without expecting any reward for the good Lord will generously reward you in equal measure. We still have our brother Thomas Cann to support, the elderly woman who is suffering as a result of the after effects of a bomb blast some years back as she was presenting a bouquet of flowers to Ghana's first president, Osagyefo  Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, the HIV/AIDS children's orphanage in Tema, Joseph our brother in the North. We will kindly ask you to visit our facebook page Lamisi ReachOut Foundation and details on how to help all these people will be specified there.

God richly bless you for taking your time to read this post and we hope you will help someone in need this Easter. Jesus Christ did not die for us in vain, He came to redeem our sins. Have a Happy Easter and we hope the resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ brings something new in your lives. Lets put smiles on the faces of the needy, poor and less privileged in the society.
